yeah, the problem is i don’t have the gear to pull the motor myself, gonna talk to a guy down the street and see if he can help me with it.

Freeze plugs are easy as hell to do....if ford hadn’t placed them on the back of the motor.

its not DONE.....DONE....... after you check the freeze plugs, if that isnt it, you could try to glass it(sodium silicate), ...or... nickel weld the crack..... or.... jam a whole lotta rtv ultra into it........ or........at home hillbilly lock and stitch using home depot/tractor supply allthread.................or...............weld a window patch over the affected spot............................or..............................(i’m running thin on ideas now)

although i AM......ALL for the easy fix, simplest means necessary, there is something satisfying about mending a ridiculous mess(so that it is now reliable and doesnt leave you walking/stranded) . if you did fix it in some odd way, you might get an engraver, and sign/date the thing.

it sucks to cut bait and just walk away...........materials are cheap...... and YOUR labor in your off time costs you exactly........not much.
